Hi:

I had a request for an 'import' feature into drupal that would query a myspace or facebook account. Is this even possible with what's currently out there for drupal?

The idea is to somehow make the users account on the site sync with myspace and facebook.

myspace, no idea, not sure if they have an open api. Facebook on the other hand does have an API and there are module in teh downloads area that allow some interaction.

Problem is their documentation is so cryptic. If this was possible wouldn't drupal developers already made something that utilizes this?

Depends on whether or not a developer had an overlapping interest in both Drupal and MySpace. That said, because there are no modules at this point in time, I'd answer no.
