In admin content types, configuring a content taxonomy field is slow (D6.15).

Creating a CCK "Content Taxonomy Fields" module field type, it takes a lot to load the content types "configure field" options page.

Anyone can help?

Same here. In my case the source of the issue is the taxonomy is too big. ~20MB. Drupal try to load all of it 20MB then run out of memory. Anybody know a solution to this.

It's fix for Drupal 7 at http://drupal.org/node/556842

But not yet back ported to Drupal 6
