I was prevaricating today, so successfully that I can't even remember what the job that I was avoiding was.
So I found myself diagraming some systems and decided I needed a symbol to represent drush.
Here's what I came up with. I'm not an Illustrator pro, but Inkscape had some issues on my machine, and Gimp just hurts my head, so it's in .ai .

The Drupal blue is cute, but I decided I preferred the black "commandline" version better.
I'll attach a few sizes, and the Illustrator doc. Feel free to re-mix ... or ignore.
I was intending to get something a little flatter, blockier and 'cog-like' but the gradient made druplicon still look very spherical.
Anyway... why not?
(actually the full ai was to bit to attach. I'll attach a cut-down version)

... Oh yeah, I was avoiding doing end-of-year backups :-B. I've now proven that a system can exist to do backups, therefore the actual backing-up part isn't half as much fun as drawing pictures ... :-}

You are the man, dman. +1 for the logo. I like the blue one, and I think that the spherical look to it is perfect.

@dman: I posted comments on your documentation at #670994: Site alias documentation.

I also like the first one, what about getting this in 3.0? :)

I really only thought it could be colourful for the project page or docs. Don't really know what else to do with it.

I committed drush_logo-black.png to cvs. the black distinguishes it better from the drupal web app ... the source files will be hosted in this issue forever. thats good enough for me.
