I just installed heartbeat and went straight to the heartbeat/public page after. I get access denied for all users including user/1. Permissions settings do not effect this at all.

Stalski commentedThis is a page i don't know about.
Heartbeat provides default page foreach existence of a stream. For instance heartbeat/publicheartbeat , heartbeat/privateheartbeat, heartbeat/myactivity in case myactivity is a custom instance of HeartbeatAccess class.
The page i provide in the views example is called heartbeat/site-activity.
Where did you get this information about this url?

carlmcdade commentedThe only docs on installation that I could find were here:
http://blog.menhir.be/2009/05/01/install-heartbeat-so-activity-gets-logged/
is there another page here at drupal.org or in the files archive?

Stalski commentedThat should be updated indeed. I think it was a typo in the first place.
Yes some documentation is available on the demo site as well now. That will be the most current and installed with the most recent dev release.

Stalski commentedFixed, but that is an old post for an older version. Check the new documentation and demo site. This is growing for the moment and is updated once a week.
A lot of the old documentation still works for the current version, but be carefull as it is a totally other branch.
