porterstemmer is great for stem, unfortunately I'm stuck at a problem where I could not find any solution. porterstemmer does not entertain non-english words e.g. searching Sample does not return Sample1, Sample2 etc, it returns only Sample.

Note that this is a hack but it is useful.
