I have only been using Drupal (6) for about 6 months. Have done multiple installs for practice and spec. I come with about 10 years of web dev experience and know some php, lamp, etc.
I have recently been asked for a bid (my first paying Drupal work!) to upgrade from 5.13 to 6.15. I understand that I am not providing enough information here about the details of the site, it is a large catalog for a non profit. In all fairness, I have negotiated $25/hr for maintenance, tweaks, and minor upgrades. The site currently uses ecommerce and Zen which has been problematic. That aside, I do not know how much I should charge for the initial version upgrade.
I know questions of his nature are speculative at best, but any 'ballpark' advice as to how much time the upgrade would normally consume would be greatly appreciated to get me off the ground.
