How can in create a view of all the comments on

a) nodes i created (got that working)
b) nodes i did not create but commented on

actually i should be a view behaviour similar to the facebook activity footer bar.

Filter >> Activity Access: Comment Access
Filter >> Activity Access: Allow Access to the Actor

I am assuming you are also adding the Node Relationship so you can get the node fields. So just make sure that relationship is required.
