Time to change it. Now I want to create a contactand just log it to a table in DRUPAL. But I want to do it as simple and as drupal-ish as possible. So I will list my ideas, and perhaps some people can add some new ideas.
1... Create a Button that goes to a specific webform. The problem is that if someone adds a new entry, then the form has to know what entry the viewer is coming from. Perhaps someone in the webform section has an option for that.
2... use a CONTACT THE AUTHOR kind of setup. This has some potential, and the listing information is automatically preserved. Ideally I would like to keep the entry as a NODE, and put it into a workflow process.
3... Custom Module that automatically posts a node, and sends an email. seems like this should already be some kind of option.
any other thoughts?

avpadernoI am not sure I understood. Are you asking for something you want to do in your site, or are you asking for something you want to do in a page of a group created on g.d.o?

irishgringo commentedi want to create a content type that automatically creates a form for viewers to leave content. So, this is not something that I am doing specifically for this site. This is more of a survey of the simplest DRUPAL options that could solve this issue. but yes, I plan to do this to my site.
I suppose I should also look at the comment modules, perhaps that can be modified to include custom fields.. again, there has got to be a solution that is already out there.
