hi,

i'm in several bands and use drupal for our websites...

we want to setup downloads for registered users... things like desktop wallpapers and icons etc...

in Drupal 6x everything seems to work ok,
http://NoteToSelfDontDie.co.uk/?q=desktop-wallpaper

here is a screenshot of what it looks like if you are registered:
http://notetoselfdontdie.co.uk/sites/default/files/images/Picture%2012.p...

if you are logged in you can see the list of files to download...

however,

on my other site using drupal 5x nothing seems to be working like it should be:
http://TheLightOfOtherDays.co.uk/?q=downloads

i guess the answer i don't want to hear is upgrade this website to Drupal 6?

any other solution?

thanks in advance...

What do you mean by "not working as it should be"? What are you expecting to see?

I'm not a member of your site, and I can't see downloads. Both sites work fine AFAIK.

BTW: upgrading to Drupal 6 is only painful if contributed modules haven't been upgraded to Drupal 6 too. At this point (6.15) I'd suggest that any module without a Drupal 6 upgrade path by now isn't likely to get one at all.

on the drupal 5 site, the expected list of files don't show up when i log in... but when i edit the page the files are there... and i can delete them and add more etc etc...

i guess you are right, i should just upgrade...

-=sigh=-

i've added a screenshot to show you what it looks like if you are registered:

i guess the best solution is to upgrade other site to Drupal 6x?
