I fear we will contribute to confusion by having a 'sync' alias which points to rsync. 'sync' is too easily confused as an abbreviation for sql sync. Since sync is only 1 letter shorter than rsync, i propose we drop the 'sync' alias. I know we put it there for backwards compat, but people can make trivial edits to their scripts when we they upgrade to v3. feedback welcome.
