If I try to create a subscription to a thread from the User>Notifications>Add Subscription>Thread page, I can make Notifications crash with:

Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in /var/www/modules/notifications/notifications.node.inc on line 113

by entering a * in the box. This should not happen.

You can also crash it by entering other non-alphanumeric characters such as ()!@#$%^&.

When creating a subscription to a Thread, a Fatal Error can be triggered by entering any string which is not belong to threaded list in the box. then warning message should get.
