Forgotten password

Ive forgotten my user name and password so I cant log in as an admin to my Drupal site. Im working on my localhost and the mail server isnt set up so I cant retrieve my password the normal way. Is there anyway of finding out what it is?

I know the database username and password is stored in a file in the Drupal folder. Will my admin password be stored somewhere similar or is it in the databse, and if so how can I retrieve it?
