A strange 0 has appeared in my admin and frontpage.

Have you tried removing the 0 with your text editor (download the page from the server, change it, and re-upload it?) Probably page.tpl.php

Yes thanks for your help. It is one of my modules and I am not sure which one yet, so if anyone else has this just uncheck your modules one by one to find the one that shows 0.
