I added a username into the box to try it out but when I come to remove it, it says:

"does not exist. Please enter a valid username."

I'm not able to replicate this in 6.x-1.3 or 6.x-dev. What browser are you using?

It doesn't matter.
I've tried with IE and Google Chrome (which I use the most).

The box "Menu Quick Switch user" cannot be set to NULL/blank.

You can also only put 1 username in the box.

I can't duplicate this in 6.x-1.4. I do think that a separate feature request for the menu quick switch field to behave similarly to the block quick switch field has merit.

Already fixed in #852270: Uninitialised var causes bad foreach
