My small business is beginning a new initiative that includes the creation of multiple sites. I have chosen Drupal over Joomla specifically because of its multi-site strength.
I would describe my own competence as "advanced amateur." I have already created a prototype site employing themes, view, panels, image cache, cck, etc. (the usual suspects). However, I'm getting to a point where the finishing touches are bogging me down and some paid consultation is in order. I'm seeking a knowledgeable person who can provide guidance and help me overcome some roadblocks. Initially I require only a couple hours here and there, but this could develop into an ongoing development and maintenance contract for the right individual.
The specific expertise I require encompasses the following areas:
1) Multi-site best practices and configuration.
2) Best practices for image storage and presentation.
3) Best practices for taxonomy creation and usage.
4) Permissions and user management.
A bonus if you have experience in any of the following areas:
1) Ecommerce for subscription services.
2) Simplenews or other email marketing modules.
I prefer someone with strong English skills who is available for phone or Skype consultation. Proximity to our metro-Boston offices would be great.
If interested, please send a me a brief summary of why you're the right person for the job, a couple of client links, and your hourly rate.
Thanks!
Andrew
