Profile "Tabs", is there such a thing?

Hey All,
I am looking at how to set up user profiles for my social network.

Most tutorials use a views/panels (and sometimes tabs) combo to make the profile, place things in certain areas, etc.;I want to do something a little different.

I would like to present a series of vertical tabs that run up and down the length of the profile, each around a thumb wide. Each with a title such as About Me, Contact Me, My Blog. As each of these is clicked that section expands left/right.

Is there a module that could help me achieve this?

If my description doesn't make a good mental image I'll make a simple graphic to show what I mean.
