I'm having some trouble configuring the 2 together, what i'd like to do is have a "thumbnail" preview image of the video on my page, and when clicked, i want it to play the video in the lightbox as it's supposed to. i tried adding rel="lightvideo" to the embedded video code, but it won't play the video in it. i must be missing something, would anyone happen to know the proper configuration to get the two to work together? if flowplayer just isn't compatible, would anyone know of another flv player that can be used for commercial use that will work properly with it? any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,
is there any progress with your flowplayer + lightbox2 integration?
i currently want to use it also, combine with cck, but get the same problem as you mention above.
please do enlight me if you get any solution.

Sort of hoping by upping this someone can help us clueless people. Any advice out there guys?

I need this as well. When you have id="player" set in the achor, it plays the video in its normal place whilst the lightvideo box opens up. removing the id doesnt add the flowplayer.min.js file to the page and doesnt display the video at all.

I'm trying to do the same thing. When click on a thumbnail Lightbox2 opens up with Flowplayer but it's getting this error:

300: Player initialization failed: TypeError: Error#1009

In my view, I have checked "Rewrite the output of this file"

and in the TEXT area:

<a rel="lightvideo[]" href="http://localhost/sites/mysite/files/top.swf"><img src="http://localhost/sites/mysite/files/imagecache/product/thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title=""  width="100" height="74" /></a>

I have exhausted google search. Has anyone gotten the video to play in Lightbox2 with Flowplayer?

Also if I specify width and height such as

<a rel="lightvideo[width:400px; height:300px;]"  href="http://localhost/sites/mysite/files/top.swf"><img src="http://localhost/sites/mysite/files/imagecache/product/thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title=""  width="100" height="74" /></a>

the flash will play on a new page instead of inside of Lightbox2.

I'm no long getting the error When click on a thumbnail image, lightbox opens up with Flowplayer but nothing gets played.

Has anyone been able to play video inside of Lightbox using Flowplayer?
