New contents marked as Not published and/or in moderation get mailed out by the notification module to the users who subscribed to the notification. Such contents are not meant to be seen/noticed by the users unless they're published.

Moderation queue content should still be sent out to admins who need to approve said content though. I'll take a look.

I can confirm this bug.

It's kind of important to resolve it because users wanting to see the new content reported by the notify module are hit with "access forbidden" errors, since the node is moderation queue and hidden as such to authenticated or anonymous users.

Fix committed to HEAD. Please download the latest version from HEAD CVS and test with Drupal 4.7.x. Let me know if this fixes the problem and I'll backport the change to DRUPAL-4-7.
