Please see #658364-20: Does build/view/formatter terminology make sense?. D6 had node_view(). D7 Unstable 5 changed it to node_build(). D7 HEAD has it back to node_view(). What's our protocol for documenting this?

The back and forth of pre-release changes doesn't need to be formally documented in the handbooks. In fact, it would be really confusing if we tried to capture all that stuff there. We have a record of the discussion in the issue queue which is probably enough.

I'd say that the module upgrade doc should just be updated to reflect whatever was finally decided.
