Hi,
I am building an event managment site and want to produce a view (to insert into a panel) that lists all the major touring areas of a particular performer i.e. by Country/state/region. When the user clicks on their state/region it goes to a node listing the specific performance locations (and various other details) in that state/region. Each performer is defined by an organic group which has its own Panel groups home page which will summarise the touring Country/states/regions via an inserted view.
It seems likely that Taxonomy could facilitate this but I am not sure how to in practical terms??
The following outline the process I would like to acheive:
1. The site manager sets up a new performer (Organic Group)
2. The site manager then creates an event (content type) that identifies all the relevant details of the event, including the Country/State/Region in which the event is located (via I am guessing a Taxonomy term).
3. The Performers Organic Group home page then displays a list of Country/State/Regions that specific event are booked. The user (as said) clicks on the relevant link to get to the list of events in there area.
Really appreciate any guidance...
Thanks
