This is a problem with a new theme I installed and Lightbox2. I purchased the theme but don't have to much hope they will address. Id like to describe the problem and ask if anyone can point me to things to try, investigate.

I have a default install of LightBox2 on new/latest install of drupal (actually using a Acquia setup)

What happens is that on every link I click I get a Lightbox popup with no images, a camera with a slash through it.
If I close the Lightbox I just stay on the original page

It only happens on pages that Lightbox2 is enabled for

If I set the config to Lightbox2 Lite it DOESNT fail, no pop up

The template we purchased is a flash based one.

So its some conflict with the template, or problem in the template, but I don't know Lightbox2 at all and looking for pointers to even start figuring out the templates issue.

I'm guessing this is because you have the jquery_update module installed on your site or are using jquery 1.3.x. Try out the lightbox2 dev version, clear browser and Drupal's caches and try again. Hopefully that should fix it.

I have same problem... it works some time, after a while the same window you are stating pops up on every link... did you resolve this issue... URGENTLY NEED HELP! Thanks!

Use the dev version of lb2, or don't use the newer jquery update module.

I updated to the dev version of lightbox2 and also made sure I had the jquery update module and it seems to have resolved the issue.

I'm going to do the maintainer a favor and mark this as closed since it *is* fixed. That said, it might be nice to roll out another point release since it seems like a problem a lot of people are running into.

I ran into this issue as well. Updating to -dev solved it.

I would really encourage the maintainer to release a new stable version since the last one is mer than a year old and the current -dev seems stable and more and more users will probably want to use jquery 1.3.x for other reasons.
