Over the past year I have created a Drupal messaging application in my evening hours and weekends. This application consists of a custom module, a custom zen based theme and some drupal modules like views, cck and rules etc. This application is functionally (nearly) complete, but is performing poorly. This application is intended for a friend of mine who is the founder of a foundation for conflict simulation training.
The codebase contains ideas that have developed over the last year, but which have not been coded consistently and have not been refactored and cleaned so far. I know that it contains some constructs that have a significant impact on performance and can be done much more efficiently. However I have just started in a new job and got my second child. This means I am no longer able to put effort in refactoring and performance tuning this application/the custom module and theme.
I am looking to get in contact with drupal developers that are up for a challenge and are interested in finishing/refactoring this application, make it perform and finding and configuring a matching hosting solution in order for this application to be used by the foundation in simulation training.
The application should scale up to more than 100 heavy concurrent users, something Drupal can do easily. Although I have no time to finish this, I am available to elaborate on the code and provide you with feedback where required. People from the foundation are also available to give you functional input. The fee would be 4000 dollar on a no cure no pay basis.
