Having struggled for years trying to understand Access Control in Drupal I have written a page or two on what I have discovered in the hope that others might find it helpful. As far as I can see there is nothing in the documentation that gives such an overview. I have attached it as a Text File. Might this be of any use? If so - what do I do next?

If there is any content in your file that is not covered there, feel free to add it, or post here if you need more guidance. And if that covers it, please let us know here so we can mark this issue accordingly.
