Hello everyone I am new to drupal, but i want to do my Gsoc Project in Drupal. Did any one help me what to do?

go to - http://drupal.org/handbooks .....

..... and start reading.

Be clear what you want / need to do - write a specification and post it in the here or a more specific group forum - http://groups.drupal.org/groups.

Download Drupal 6.x and install it localhost or on a server.

David Mercer's Drupal book or some other - http://www.packtpub.com/ will be able to show you the way - you will be up and running in an afternoon and see the power and ease of Drupal.
