When I look at my site in the resolution 1024 x 768 it seems that my layout gets screwed up. Any ideas how this can be possible and what I can do to help this? It happens in all known browsers.

I also don't have the ability with this theme to change colors. Do I require some additional modules or something like that.

Some help would be appreciated.

I am haven't the exact same problem. Does anyone know how to make my website appear ok on 1024 x 768? or set the website to automatically switch to use one sidebar instead of two sidebar when the user screen resolution is not wide screen?

Here's my website page which show the content overlapping the right sidebar when the screen resolution is not wide screen...

I may be seeing a similar issue on IE8 at 1200x800. The first menu item is dropped slightly below the header and pushes the content off to the right. Screenshot attached.

Adding the meta tag for EmulateIE7 (see http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/06/10/introducing-ie-emulateie7.aspx) works around the issue I'm seeing on IE8.

It would be great to understand the real issue for a better fix.

@Dries Dijkstra - your width is set to 1000px, I might suggest using 980 to play safe with 1024x768. I didn't see any other issues.

@iori57 - did you switch off a sidebar, everything seems ok at the moment?

I know there can be some issues with IE8 and the meta tag trick does fix it. In the pretty near future I will upgrade this theme but time is hard to find at the moment.

Yup I switched off a sidebar and set width to 1000px. Is it better to set to 980?

Two sidebar seems to squeeze the middle contents too much when viewed in non wide screen resolutions, I checked analytics and there's still more than 35% people using 1024x768.. which is a huge lost :) I've switched to one sidebar at the moment.. but I still like the two sidebar design better :(

Not sure if it's the same or a different issue...

But in my case, it seems to be related to the width of the logo for the site. I'm using a 500px wide image - and if there's insufficient space to the right of that for the superfish menus, they wrap as a whole item down onto the next line. This causes two issues. Firstly, it pushes them out of the black bar into the white body of the page. Which, since the text is white, makes them... tricky... to read. Secondly, the left sidebar is then pushed over to start after the end of the menu list.

If I use non-superfish primary menus, then the degradation is more gradual. First, it wraps two-word menu items onto a second line. Then, when that runs out of space, it wraps whole menu items down. They remain "within" the black area, though - just not in a bit of it that's actually visible, since they "fall out" of the bottom of the box. They don't impact on the main area, though.

I'm happy to extend access to the site if required - it's a non-public test site only at the mo.
