I have enabled the profile module and try to add fields. They are saved and then when I go to my account and click edit tab nothing is available to edit. The field is hiding or something. I have also noticed that another module (uc_wishlist) has a field that is on the my account page that isn't showing up either...please help.

I was having the same problem. I finally figured out that my custom theme was not showing the second set of tabs.
