Hi, is this a duplicate of http://drupal.org/project/block_theme_synchronize or is there different functionality here? If it is different, it would be helpful to document that on the project page.

Unfortunately I didn't come across block_theme_synchronize before developing this module. I would say that the intention of both modules is the same.
