Configuration:
Freshly installed Drupal 4.7.2., installed in subdir: CMS
Operating system Linux, Kernel version 2.4.21-32.ELsmp, Apache version 1.3.34 (Unix)
PERL version 5.8.7, Path to PERL /usr/bin/perl, PHP version 4.4.1, MySQL version 4.0.27-standard-log
Symtom:
Clicking on Save configuration caused a page not found error and a "further ErrorDocument could not either" error.
To reproduce:
When I first signed up I used an email address of reg@CapioGroup.com. When I used the same email address in the admininster:settings:General settings area I got this error consistently. When I changed the email address to all lower case the error when away for one time and the returned. Since I have changed the email address to something else it has not returned. To reproduce: make the email address the same as the first users email address and do it as a first thing after logging in (just after setting the "file" directory if necessary as was required in my case). Trying to recreate the error after it has stopped has not worked so it will probably need to be done on a fresh install. I installed Drupal twice and got the same error each time.
