Loving this module!

Next time you work on this module, will you please consider a few extra features to the Block display?

1. Admin ability to text trim (set limit) on the amout of text that is displayed in block, with a "more..."

2. In the block "more" as current, would you consider allowing Admin to set a path instead -- as an option. This way it would be real simple to hook it into a custom View. It would also avoid the Header and Breadcrumb problems I have -- Quotes:Tips & Tricks (using Quotes - as Tips & Tricks)

3. Ability to edit text in the block (from a edit link) - not sure if this is even possible.

I am currently chasing HEAD for d7 and working on the d7 quotes project. after alpha comes out and I can get a working d7 version for quotes I will apply this request there. once working then will backport to 6x

Due to some text being rather short a read more link would not be appropriate there. What to consider as a limit would probably depend upon the use and block size. Give me an idea what your thinking of.

as to editing text in the block, don't think that's possible.

as for text, I was thinking something like what the Views module offers for trimming text with the option of adding "..." at the end of trimmed text

1) There is already a "Maximum quote length" setting in the block, at least in the -dev version.
2) This is not trivial and would probably require the Token module. We would need more ideas on what you envision.
3) Editing in the block - no. An edit link is possible, but it would be to a normal node edit page.

This should be addressed at the same time as #678870: Only title in the block.
