An imagecache url that I have is like this:

"http://site.us/sites/site.us/files/imagecache/avatar_preset/sites/site.us/files/pictures/picture-1000992.jpg"

The part that I've bolded is definitely not necessary and causes havoc when changing domain names.

Can this part be removed from the url? Thanks.
