I'm using flag 2.x and it's asking me to upgrade the follow flag to the new API.
How can I use both fbs and flag2 together? Thanks.

icecreamyou commentedIt might work if you upgrade that flag. I don't know, I haven't tried it. However the Flag developer documentation hasn't been updated to reflect the 2.x version of Flag yet, and I'm not going to upgrade FBSS' integration until Flag 2.x becomes the recommended version.

Michael3185 commentedDon't know if it's of any help ... I'm using FBSS dev release with Flag 6.x-2.0-beta5 and everything's fine. I've added new flags and views which use them without any problems.

I'd like to support Flag 2.x, and it's great if it works, but I'm not particularly interested in reverse-engineering the API.

ezra-g commented2.x is now the officially recommended version of Flag per the project page and quicksketch's comments, and it looks like we're likely to be updating to it in Commons 6.-2.x.
icecreamyou commentedI'd like to support Flag 2.x since that would make the code more consistent with the D7 branch and because the performance improvements are very real on large sites. My priority here is fixing the Flag integration for D7 first, although I'd be happy if someone submitted a patch for D6.

icecreamyou commentedRelevant D7 commits:

It's more complicated than this because we are committed to supporting Flag 1.x as well for now.
