Integration with user relations?

Not really, the module has been created last night.. still fresh..

Can you elaborate more what kind of integration your talking about, maybe i can include it in the next release..

There are basically two types of meebo bars from what I remember. The first one provides access to the meebo chat and lets users chat with their friends on other protocols (AIM, Yahoo, etc.) This module implements this bar.

The other bar will read users from within the system (i.e. drupal) and look for "friends". The meebo bar then provides a site chat that allows users to chat with others from within the site.

This is what i'm planning to do.. i'm getting in touch with Meebo team for support. There is also a module will be released soon for Meebo API, it would help me to accomplish that.. I will be working in this feature for the next release..

I am building a social networking site. There is profile creation for each user.

I consider it would be a lot of revenue for meebo as well if the meebo registration can also be done during the profile creation.

This idea because not all registering to my site or any site need be mebo users.

Any progress with this?

Unless you're set on using meebo, take a look at http://www.cometchat.com/drupal-chat. I came across that a few weeks ago.

Wow, looks even better now. Even though I prefer the meebo chat more, I will look into this, but will also wait for user integration.
