Sometimes a topic needs to have more than 1 url for several reasons you may think of. Is it possible for janode to have more than 1 url in 1 node and check each url individually and send the node to the moderation quee if one fails?

for example consider a node about a game, 1 link may show to the author's site, and the other link may link to the game site hosted somewhere else...

I would be glad if you may list some guidelines, I wonder if this is a logical need?

This sounds like a good feature request. I had thought to allow more than one link per node, however, at the time of writing the code it wasn't a requirement so didn't get done.

I will add this to the TODO list for this module.

Thank you for adding the request to the TODO. I myself need some hands on experience with drupal until I work on code and submit a patch. First I must learn the way the drupal works internally :)

thank you again

I am anxious to see the results of this. I would like to use it to create a long list of links under a given topic such as "links to resources on ADHD". I am a newbie so other ways of easily doing this (with the url checking) escape me. I have hundreds of links on my current site, managed in a very tedious way - and I have to check them by my lonesome! Thanks, TH

The manual is a useful thing, but only if you read it ;)

Actually, I'm going to close this as I don't plan on investing any more time on Janode. Drupal 5 and it's new CCK are overtaking fast (and in fact trying to put out node extention modules entirely!). So, I will maintain Janode in "bug fix" mode until Drupal 6 (in about a year from date of posting) and at that time this module will retire.
