In the paypal direct payment method a buyer gives credit card information directly on a seller's/merchant's site and the transaction is also processed there, as opposed to the express payment method where the buyer transfered to the paypal site and gives his billing information on paypal website.

neclimdulThis is not true. Both are implemented. When the paypalpro and the paypalpro_express modules are installed you will have a ppexpress option and a credit card option. the credit card option will do the direct payment.

gordon commentedE-Commerce does have the paypal pro module which does support this, however it is still being completed ready for 4.7
