Hi everybody,
it´s well known, that one can set the teasers max length
but can one set a maximum of lines for teasers?
No matter how many characters it would contain...
I´m asking coz i wanna display some views in tables
and a teaser with too many lines would
stretch my table in a nasty way.

Teaser length by height lines
I would like to know how to do this too. My teasers are currently limited by characters (200) but I have a lot of spacing between lines.
I am currently displaying the teaser via Views table layout. Ideally I like to have the table row height to be fixed (user specified) so that the teaser can only be has long/high as the row height.
I understand the limiting the teaser by lines/height is entirely based on font type and size but I'd appreciate a means to easily do so (in core or via modules).
To address this issue, I think the teaser font should be a standardized font and size so that regardless of the font type and size in the full length, the teaser will be and can only be displayed in one font size and type.
