I'm looking for a part-time Drupal webmaster to help us keep a publishing network up and running.
You'd be joining a small tech team (me and a couple freelancers) for a mid-size blog network (1m uniques and growing quickly).
Part time. 10-20 hours per week.
Work at home. Set your own hours (with some caveats -- must check-in for agreed upon hours per week).
Responsibilities and tasks include (in descending order of priority):
1) Work the issue queue. Resolve trouble tickets and feature requests from a user base of a few dozen writers and editors. There would also be day-to-day tech setup stuff (create a new user role, setup a new node type, insert new block into theme, etc).
2) Drupal maintenance upgrades of core, contributed, and custom modules.
3) Installing, configuring and maintaining Drupal modules/features. Work with dev team to write theme or glue code (if necessary).
4) Work with development and sysadmin team to build a rock solid and easy to maintain infrastructure. Suggest improvements to the platform considering security, speed, usability, etc.
Please email jobs@killeraces.com with "drupal webmaster" in the subject line. Include:
1) what you do now, why we should consider you
2) hourly rate (or retainer rates)
3) your drupal.org profile (and list any contributions)
4) availability (weekends only, 2 hours a day, starting next month, etc)
5) resume
Looking to hire before Feb.
Thanks in advance!
