moodle integration

rober - June 12, 2006 - 06:51

Hello, i´m trying to install the moodle.module but i don´t understand the steps that i want to do on the moodle side. Could you tell the instructions to install this module?

Thank you.

Cheers.

From the moodle site?

I assume you got the module from the Moodle site? I don't think there are many people here that will understand what to do on the moodle side. Have you tried asking on their forum?

Aside: it would be great if the moodle module were hosted here on Drupal.org....

Yeah, I´m interested in all

Yeah, I´m interested in all the process, you can download it from :

Thank you

Sorry...

What I was saying was that very few people here will know anything about moodle, esp. since the module is hosted over there. It's best to ask in the Moodle forums, esp. if it is the Moodle bits you are having trouble with.

Have a look at aTutor

You will find it at http://www.atutor.ca/

Although there isn't a working integration to Drupal some (me too) are having plans to do this. But this will take a while, so any help is welcome.

The architecture of ATutor is much more Drupal friendly (e.g. layout engine) and has some really nice benefits like text2speach-engine (festival).

I was starting using moodle 3 years ago and I'm very happy with it, but in the meantime I switched nearly all my sites to ATutor and I'm much more happy now :)

There is a module integrating your Drupal users into Atutor available here:

http://www.atutor.ca/view/17/12018/1.html (for Drupal 5.x), same module for Drupal 4.x found here: http://www.atutor.ca/modules/index.php

Personally Atutor is my Open Source LMS of choice as well :)
