Hi there,

I am already excited about using this module. So far, everything goes fantastic.

Is there a place to download alternative UI graphics for the module? Any skins?

Thanks already...

Title: Custom graphics anywhere? » Interface Themes
Version: 6.x-1.0-beta4 » 6.x-2.x-dev

Sinan, not at the moment; this was one of my goals for the 1.x branch, but is getting pushed to the 2.x branch. The default interface controls are fairly ugly, so I think it would be very valuable to get some better looking controls, and have a plugin system to switch between themes and easily make new ones.. This is still a little ways off.

As far as the current 1.x branch, you can specify a CSS and Image path and start to customize the controls yourself. But there are no presets.

Changing name and putting as a 2.x feature request. There may already be an issue for this.

I'm working on getting our images BSD-licensed and the source SVGs out there - I'll hopefully have an update soon.

First theme is available on GitHub and is also available as hosted images; documentation soon to come.

I copied the image directory under openlayers module folder. How can i point to that directory in the "Image path" field? relative or absolute path? trailing slash?

etcetera9: absolute path is the most failsafe way to do this, and a trailing slash is required.

Just published the page documenting this control set, and also pushed it up to an S3/CloudFront account, so you can point the image path at http://js.mapbox.com/theme/dark/ and do it without downloading anything.

Created a book page for that color scheme, so that others can add their own color schemes, etc. It'll be easy to customize colors, looks etc - Inkscape recommended.

Excuse my ignorance but I really cant make it work. Ok, the path http://js.mapbox.com/theme/dark/ works. But when I download the images, I cannot make that work. Should I put both the source folder and the images folder? Should I point the images or source folder?

Thanks...

You'll just want to download the images folder. The source folder is filled with vector files that you can use to make new images, but OpenLayers can't use directly. Just put the images folder on your server and just point to it.

Also we've released some icons - here's the announcement. They're BSD licensed as well as hosted.

Thank you for the Theme!

Perhaps you could add a cloud-popup-relative.png* to the tarball and info provided?

As it is, the balloons show transparent.
