Removal Of 'Request New Password'

Hey all.

Quick question for you here. I've enabled it so that people are unable to register on the website without the administration setting them up an account (as I plan to make the website more of a read only site than a full on interaction site). So, I've managed to remove the 'register/sign up' link via options within the administer panel but what I was wondering is if I could also remove the 'Request New Password' ability, when you go to http://www.example.com/user

Is this possible without the help of modules? Or if I need a module, can anyone recommend any?
