This is no longer accurate:

To enable javascript embedding requires the use of the SWF Tools module, but
at this time SWF Tools has not been upgraded to Drupal 6

And this clearly didn't happen, at least for all users:

Note - flash node uses direct embedding of content. In the short term this will
result in the 'Click here to activate and use this control' message under
Internet Explorer. However, this requirement will shortly be removed from IE.

I'm assuming this post relates to flash node, not SWF Tools?

Not worked on flash node in a while I must admit!
