I am setting up a drupal site and am attempting to get cron jobs set up so i can use the search module. I changed cron-curl and cron-lynx files and then navigated to the www.example.com/cron.php location in my browser. I didnt receive any errors and the page loaded fully but appeared to be blank (just a white browser screen). The only content currently on the site is a few images and upto 10 book pages or news stories.

I have gone into site administrator and there it says that the cron job is running and was last started "x" minutes ago. How long should these jobs run for. I have been unable to find much information on this subject.

If your page is blank, all is good. The cron page only says something if there is an error. :)
