I have several CCK fields such as the Date and Location Fields, the problem here is how they appear in forms. Simply put, they their look doesn't do it for me. So how do I change their appearance:

1. I don't like that they are grouped in their own fieldsets.
2. I don't like the positioning of their labels.

How can I change that. I know how I can do it with CSS and Javascript but that's not what I'm looking for. Thanks for reading this.

This comprehensive tutorial on theming and modifying forms in Drupal 5 & 6 from Lulabot would be worth reading. It should answer you question better than a few short comments in the forums.

Basically, Drupal gives you a ton of options to customize your forms.
