Got a request in the email for this today and it's definitely one we've been discussing a lot.

I created a ChipIn at: http://uberpos.com/page/chip

This ChipIn is to provide support for Ubercart's credit card payment gateway. Testing will be done using Authorize.net. There
will be options on the uberPOS settings page to accept credit cards as they are accepted now, or to accept using the gateway

I am very interested in this, however, in the UK merchant numbers are split between in store and internet/moto accounts. What are the terms with authorise.net - are you allowed to use it for instore payments?

I dont know, just asking ;).

Thanks,
Paul.

Here you also have to have a separate merchant account for each location, plus a separate one for the web.

With Authorize you can have multiple accounts, each with its own Key and Login.

So we need to make it so UberPOS can use merchant account credentials seperate from what is use with Ubercart.

I think the bulk of the work is actually making it so you can use an MSR to swipe cards into the UberPOS interface.

OK, marking this as done. Code has been committed to CVS and will be in the dev tarball in less than 12 hours IIRC... basic support is there for authorizenet card present accounts. left-click is using it. Test it out if you'd like. It should work but don't be surprised if there are issues ;). Refunds are not yet support as that requires logging the transaction id and setting up a new way to handle refunds....

Please see README.txt in /contrib/up_authorizenet/
