I would like an easy way to view the citekey. I realize I could turn on the settings->citekey option to print the citekey whenever a reference is printed. However, that option is a bit too heavy-handed; the citekey then shows up at the start of every printed reference. Instead, I just want to find the citekey once when I need to add it to a post. After that, there is no need to see it again.

Currently, the other options I can find are exporting the reference or editing the reference and scrolling through many fields.

How about showing the citekey when looking at the "View" tab in node view?

Another option might be to pop it up when hovering over a citation for a given amount of time.

This is easily accomplished in the drupal 7 version by going to admin/config/content/biblio/fields then clicking on the "Identifiers" tab and checking the "common" checkbox for biblio_citekey. The citekey field then shows up when viewing the node.
