I have begun building a site using Drupal, as I was fascinated by it`s potential.

Anyways, these days I got more and more frustrated because Drupal doesn`t work to translate the interface.

1) What I want?
All the site visitors should see ONLY ROMANIAN language (including interface, menus, the messages they get when they register and so on). want to keep the interface in ENGLISH JUST FOR ME.

2) What I did?
From site configuration menu I`ve added Romanian language.
I`ve downloaded the language pack and I`ve uploaded it on my website after extraction.
I`ve tried to translate interface from the site building menu, but it showed 0%.
I`ve imported some .po files from the language pack, and after doing that is showing 605/1751 (34.55%).

Anyways, I can`t set Romanian as default language and there`s no interface translation. I have one registered user, but he got everything in English.

Please help meE! :)

Why do you say "I CAN`T SET ROMANIAN AS DEFAULT"? Did you get an error when trying that? If so, which error?

If the import page says that 34% is translated, it can happen that you still see English language mixed with Romanian.

PS. Your post read like your yelling at us. Please don't use all capitals. When using an exclamation mark, one is usually enough. More tips on www.drupal.org/forum-posting.

When I select Romanian as default and I click save, after saving it deselects as default and there`s no default language.

Also, isn`t there another way to import language, other than manually selectin every po file?!?

PS: I`ve edited my post and removed the all capitals.
