Yes, it has been a long time feature and a long time broken. This used to work about a year ago and has been broken every since.

The message is "You have specified an invalid media URL or embed code." when specifying a Youtube playlist.

YouTube is not supported in emfield itself, you need the Media: YouTube module as well...

There is one only way to embed youtube playlists with emfield: The URL must have the following structure

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=NUMBEROFTHEPLAYLIST
