Hi,

Is there an easy way to allow each organic group to have and populate it's own navigation menu? I spent the day trying and searching the forums and don't have a satisfying solution.

This is what I tried:

Create a menu with the name of the group.
Then assign it to the group using og_block_visibility.

But:

1) most of my groups are "invite only" and the menu won't show up for anonymous users or other members not subscribed to the group.
2) i cannot restrict the group members to add items to their own menu only, everyone can add an item to any group menu

As a temporary workaround, I tried to make a "container menu" (eg. 'Group Menus') and let the user choose the right menu for their group within this conainer.

But: I can't use og_block_visibility on submenus as they are not 'blocks'.

Finaly, i tried making one menu block per group

But: There is no way to restrict the parent menu. I must show all the menus to group members.

For now, og_block_visibility is totally useless for me.

Please help!

Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes.

Have set up drupal to have muliple editors/contributors.

Some of them I wont have to be able to add content to all menu objects.
I.e. some should only be able to add to navigation objects, some to another group and admin to all groups ie. administration, primary links , navigation etc.

Is it some how possible to hide some menu object when adding content and choosing menu to add content to?

My english isnt that good hope I make my self clear

I think the following will solve your issue, but I'm not sure when it will be available. You can find it here.

Organic Groups each get their own Taxonomy terms
In order to allow each group its own list of blog terms, for example, each group needs to be allowed to create their own list of terms.

Initial Assessment: Implement the spec outlined at http://drupal.org/node/28693#comment-49384 -- this has the potential to be a huge boon, as it allows for everything from categorizing content to filtering content to establishing navigation.. all the stuff taxonomy can do, only for groups.

Please post back here if this worked for you once it's launched whether it's today, next month, or months from now because I'd like to use if for my site if it works for you. (I always check ALL my postings I've made a comment on and that have a "NEW" on them so see what replies have been made by others.)

Thank you very much.
