I have a large number of articles from a non-drupal site (Coranto, actually) that I need to import into Drupal 4.7.2.
(there are no comments, just articles). The only export path from Coranto seems to be RSS .91. I've looked around drupal.org, but I can't find any modules or scripts that specifically say that they can import articles into Drupal via RSS .91. Can someone cut through all the noise and give me some suggestions for this task? I don't need to do anything fancy -- if I can import all the articles into one Drupal category with the same author, that would be fine. It would be nice to keep the original creation date/time, but even that's optional.
Thanks!

Aggregator2 should be able
Aggregator2 should be able to do this... It can be configured to add category/taxonomy entries from the RSS feed as well.
That would have to be one BIG RSS file to have all of your content in it, though...
It seems to work ok.
It seems to work ok. However, the pubDate field does not appear in the published articles. Is there a way to get it to display "admin - January 12th, 2001", or something like that underneath the title? I guess I'm wondering what controls the display of the articles.
Oops. I found it in
Oops. I found it in themes->global settings.....
The import works fine, but
The import works fine, but the imported articles are still part of the "feed". I don't see any specific settings that say "I don't want to update this feed ever again". Instead, it appears that it will check the link (whatever link I give it), minimally once every 4 weeks (the highest setting). Is there a way to turn the feed articles (100 of them) into regular stories that are no longer associated with the feed?
Hi,
Hi,
Sorry for the question but I am very new in dupral and I want to migrate on dupral (or move) my current site (in french and built on joomla 1.011).
I would like to import all my articles from joomla to dupral.
I read that it is possible to import through Rss file ou Xml file.
Currently I didn't manage to success in importing all the articles.
Could you please tell me exactly how to do step by step (taking into account that I am first testing dupral through local development with easyphp or similar soft)(I have already install dupral and create first site and I just want to have all my previous articles and categories as they are under joomla)
Thanks in advance for your help !
