Description
Good evening,
I would like to request a little feature that I think would complete this project 100 % and bring the popularity of this tool to the max :)
If it would be possible to enable to function of creating the first screencap on creation of the video or basically offer something that will put a screencap of the current video in use to give a big idea of what the video is and would interest the user more...
I hope this request gets considered ;)
Thanks!
Charles

i think it's not possible without using mplayer or other similar programs. Acidfree uses it to create that thums.
#2
Well at least provide somethign so that we can upload a image and it automatically resizes it for the node teaser and gives the full image for the node view?
#3
I believe you can do this with the img_assist module
#4
The trick would be to integrate this would the video module ;)
#5
it will be integrated the thumbnails upload e resizing soon. Fax8 is developing this feature.
#6
Glad to hear it, I also suggested a couple of other features that I hope he will respond soon :)
#7
thumbnailing has finally get implemented.
The thumbnails are generated from uploaded pictures.
an authomatic generation throug ffmpeg or mplayer should not be difficult
to implement basing on the new plugin system.

+1 on the automatic thumbnail generation!!!

This will allow this to occur. Obviously there will be an operating system dependency, but that should be okay with most people. http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net/

nope it has not. if you don't have programming skills and have a bit of money, perhaps you can sponsor a bounty to get it developed.
