Some users were confused by "Assigned Tags:" and then not having anything after that when creating a new node. I think it would be better usability to use js to hide/show that text for when there actually are tags assigned. Thanks.

eugenmayer commentedYou are the second one having this issue. My idea after it, was to show that "there are not any tags yet assigned". Removing the label woudl maybe miss that information? Or am i the only one thinking that strange way? Let me know, maybe we can combine those ideas or is there even a better way?

ManyNancy commentedThere's additional help text right under the field that basically gives all the information that's needed.
I don't think labels are useful in general for users. What they need are action verbs, telling them what to do. I have that in my help text. That said, I like your idea and it's naturally better than what we have now, but I like my suggestion more. Thanks.

eugenmayer commentedWell, convinced.
Invented in the 6.x-2.0-beta1 release

ManyNancy commentedThank you very work!
It doesn't work for multiple vocabularies though.

eugenmayer commentedWhat are multiple vocabularies?
I mean, you mean when you have several taggin vocabularies on the same node-type, so on edit / add you see to taggin widgets?
Well this works pretty well for me

ManyNancy commentedThe 'assigned' text is not hidden on the second widget.
eugenmayer commentedIts hidden for me. So we need more informations here.
Did you clean the cache? Can you try this on a clean D6.15 installation?
eugenmayer commentedDo you use jquery_update dev or stable ( so jquery 1.2.x or 1.3.x )?
ManyNancy commentedI'm using 1.3.x, soon to be 1.4.x i believe.
Not only does this not work, but the adding tags js itself does not work (on the second widget). I did clear cache but it's not on a clean installation.
eugenmayer commentedWell it does work for me, also with 3 widgets.
Do you have anything else on your form? Do you get any JS errors? What theme are you using?
eugenmayer commentedWell issue author seems to have lost interest. As i cant confirm the bug while trying i mark it as wont-fix
